| The cottage is beside the church in Burnham Overy Town, in North West Norfolk It is about 1 mile from both Burnham Market, with its shops, or the sea and sailing at Burnham Overy Staithe. There are attractive coastal walks, and sandy beaches nearby. Within a short distance are the nature reserves at Titchwell (RSPB), Holme Dunes and Cley Marshes (Norfolk Naturalist Trust). |
| The cottage is one of a terrace of seven with views over open country to Burnham Overy windmill and the ruined priory at Burnham Norton. The cottage has a flower garden with patio and garden furniture at the front. There is a paved area at the back. |
| On the ground floor a front porch leads into a simply furnished living room with a wood burner. The kitchen has an electric cooker and a fridge/freezer. Also on the ground floor is the shower room with double shower, hand basin, WC and automatic washing machine. The second floor has two inter-connecting bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a single bed. |
There are wood and tiled floors and a narrow staircase (unsuitable for those with limited mobility) leads to the first floor. There are night storage heaters and an immersion heater for hot water. We regret we are unable to accept pets and smoking is
not permitted in the cottage. |
